Last year we donated over $6,100 to the MDA and put in hundreds of hours in time to help Jerry's Kids. For more information on our local MDA activities check our Giving Back page.

Since 1950, the Muscular Dystrophy Association has provided medical research , treatment, and other services for adults and children and families affected by any of 43 neuromuscular diseases, regardless of ability to pay.

MDA operates some 250 hospital-based clinics including a program out of MeritCare Hospital in Fargo. Nearly 400 research projects are also under way around the world.

The Association's programs are funded almost entirely by individual private contributors. MDA seeks no government grants, United Way funding or fees from those it serves.
