Moorhead crews mixed it up with area residents last night during the annual National Night Out. Four Engines, our Ladder, and one rescue attended over 36 neighborhood block parties throughout town from 5 to 9 pm.
We gave tours of the truck, let the kids get their hands dirty playing with our stuff, and answered questions about what we do.
Each year we plan out which parties to attend, taking into account where we went last year and special requests for us to visit. We spent about 15 minutes at each block party, and can hit each location about every third year.
