damages home in north Moorhead

A fire damaged the garage and attic of a north Moorhead home Wednesday night.
No one was injured in the blaze, which began about 7:50 p.m. at 1125 18½ St.
N., said Moorhead Fire Chief Joel Hewitt.
Mike Edenborg, who lives one house down, said he grabbed a fire extinguisher
and ran to his neighbor’s garage. He pushed the door open slightly, but
decided against going any further after thick smoke billowed out.
His wife then called authorities, he said.
The
cause of the fire hasn’t been determined. Lisa Beach lives at the home with
her two sons.
