Moorhead Advertising for Bids on New Rescue Pumper(s)March 15th, 2005The department is advertising for bids to purchase one or more new triple combination rescue pumpers to replace existing trucks and/or expand our current fleet. The final number of pumpers to be purchased depends upon any volume discounts received and budgetary conditions in April. This piece of apparatus will be a rear-mount pumper, focusing on Firefighter safety and the multi-purpose mission on a single company fire station. The truck will have a Waterous pump, LED lighting, and designed around seating for four. All bidders are welcome and encouraged to apply. Sealed bids will be opened on Monday, April 18th.
