Moorhead Fire & Rescue and the Fargo Fire Department have joined forces to provide a
50 person hazardous materials response team. Under contract to and in cooperation with the
Minnesota Department of Public Safety , Department of Emergency Management ,
the team provide primary service to a 28 county region in Northwestern Minnesota including the
cities of Moorhead and Fargo, and serve as back-up assistance to the other regional teams
throughout the state.
