NATURAL GAS and PROPANE leaks are dangerous.  They are not only flammable, posing an explosion risk, but when leaking, may push the breathable air out of any indoor building involved in the leak, potentially killing the occupants.

Moorhead Fire has equipment to detect even small leaks and help pinpoint the source.  We can assist with determining the problem, making the situation safer, and help you contact the gas utility if necessary.

For accidental breaks in underground gas lines, we can help ensure safety and temporarily stop the leak until repair crews arrive.

Check back for more information on Natural Gas and Propane.

CARBON MONOXIDE is colorless, odorless, and can be lethal in high enough concentrations or with repeated low dose exposures.  If your entire household is experiencing unexplained illness or if your carbon monoxide detector sounds, give us a call and we will use our well calibrated monitoring equipment to get exact gas readings in your home.
